Snowtech was a survey CRM with field audio recording, built so Snowtech staff could run the customer lifecycle in one console rather than across spreadsheets and chat. Field collectors recorded survey audio in the browser, behind a consent gate.
What it did
The admin console covered the survey side of the customer lifecycle:
- Customers, their projects, survey requests and the survey responses collected against them, with a review step that records QC scores
- Field audio recording in the browser behind a consent gate, uploaded straight to S3 with a presigned URL and tracked from pending to complete or failed
- Admin, staff, client and survey-respondent roles, a settings area, and a
/meendpoint for the signed-in user - Dashboard stats served from their own endpoint
What I'd take from it
Most of the interesting work was in the front end: a data-heavy admin console where in-browser recording, a multi-step upload to S3 and the survey records each recording belonged to all had to stay coherent at once. It was built with Next.js and TypeScript, with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui for the interface.
The project stopped before it reached real users, and the infrastructure behind it was wound down afterwards.
